Olmen; <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />License Applications <br />T~xaco Service station license applications - matter tabled until <br />later date. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />County Board Plans - County Road D and Lexlnqton Avenue <br />Councilman crepeau advised the Council that the County Board Is again <br />considering plans for the County Road D and Lexington Ave. area, abutting <br />the Arden Hills south boundary. He said Arden Hllis owns half of <br />County Road D at this point. The County has requested that Arden Hills <br />comment on the County plans for the area south of County Road D before <br />their next meeting of February 19th, If possible. <br /> <br />Clerk L. Stromquist to request a copy of this proposed plan from <br />Mr. Swan. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN E. G. HENDERSON <br /> <br />Councilman Henderson reported that a Finance Committee meeting has <br />been scheduled by Chairman F. Stanton for Tuesday, February 20, 1968. <br /> <br />No report at this time. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN <br /> <br />Rosevllie - Arden Hills Joint Public WorkS Meetlnq <br />Councilman S. Olmen reported that an Informal Joint luncheon meeting <br />of the Arden Hills Public Works Committee members and Mayor R. Bjorndahl <br />with Mr. Sherm Goldberg and Mr. Roger Klobar of the Rosevllle Department <br />of Public Works was held on February 7th. He said that equipment <br />and manpower were discussed and public works In general. He advised <br />that Rosevllle contracts for ail their major water and sewer work as <br />well as repairs. They do own a backhoe whIch they use on occasion. <br />Rosevllle offered their assistance to Arden Hills and were very cooper- <br />ative. No notes were taken at the meeting. <br /> <br />Council-Public Works Joint Meetlnq <br />Councilman S. Olmen reported that the Council and PublIc Works Committee <br />hald a joint meeting on Monday, February 5, 1966 at which time It was <br />generally agreed that the Village of Arden Hills should go Into a <br />Village-owned maintenance system, effectuating this system by April I, <br />1968. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR ROBERT BJORNOAHL <br /> <br />", <br /> <br />Environmental Science Center <br />Mayor Bjorndahl reviewed a letter, da~ed 1/25/66. from Environmental <br />Science Center, advising of their meetings, the first of which Is <br />tonight. Mayor Bjorndahl requested copies of this letter be sent to <br />the Council members and to the chairmen of the Planning Commission, <br />Parks and Recreation Committee and Public Works Committee. Future <br />meetings wIll be March 7th - Hopkins High School, April 14 - St. Louis <br />High School, etc. He said he felt these meetIngs would be very bene- <br />ficial and requested representation from Arden Hills, If possible. <br /> <br />Ramsey County Leaque of MunicIpalities <br />By resolution, Councilman J. Hollenhorst was designated as the Arden <br />Hills representative and Mayor Robert BJorndahl as the alternate <br />representative to the Ramsey County League of Municipalities. <br /> <br />Anoka-Ramsey State Junior Colleoe <br />Mayor Bjorndahl read a letter, dated 2/2/68. from Anoka-Ramsey State <br />Junior College. Inviting the Arden Kills Council to attend an open <br />house between I :30 and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 1968. <br /> <br />N.S.P. L~ndDedlcatlon <br />Mayor R.
