E) and Valentine Rink (County Rd. F and Old Hwy 10) be ap- <br /> proved as follows: <br /> Highway Rink - 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturdays <br /> Valentine Rink - 3:30 to 4:00 p,m. Saturdays <br /> from Jan. 9, 1911 thru Feb. 13, 1971. The motion was seconded <br /> by Councilman Hollenhorst and carried unanlmoust~~ <br /> Clerk Administrator Stromquist was requested to advise Mr. Harmon, <br /> Mounds View Recreation Dlrecto'r, of the Council's ,action. <br /> Star - Tribune Request for Use of Charles Perry Park <br /> Councilman Herrick advised the Council that the Star - Tribune <br /> has requested to bring 5 snowmobiles and 30 boys to perry Park <br /> to snowmobile, as an award for thel~ carriers. The matter was <br /> referred to Maintenance Supervisor Beecher to Indicate the <br /> boundaries of the park and to notify Star - Tribune to contact <br /> " the Arden Hills Police Department re the time they wish to use <br /> the park and to bbtaln tules for operation of snowmobiles. <br /> Parks and Recreation Committee Bud~et Request <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herrick that the Parks and Recreation <br /> Committee request to carryover Into 1971 Parks and Recreation <br /> Fund any balance remaining In the 1910 Parks and Recreation Fund, <br /> r~ for use In the completion of Charles Perry Park, as proposed; <br /> .,. seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst; motion carried unanimously. <br /> -4- <br /> -~._-_.- --~ ---- <br />
