He <br />noted the apparent discrepancies In the report prepared by the <br />Metropoi itan Sewer Board. <br /> <br />Cierk Administrator was requested to send copies of the figures <br />prepared by Banister Engineering Company, to Senator Robert <br />Ashbach and to Metro Council, Community Services Director, <br />Robert Nethercut, requesting their assistance in rectifying the <br />apparent over-Charge to Arden Hi~ is; Engineer lund and Clerk <br />Administrator were requested to prepare an appeal to the <br />Metropolitan Sewer Board, from the Village Council. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Imorovements 12 and 13 <br />Engineer Lund discussed with the Council certain aspects of <br />the assessment roll for Sanitary Sewer 12 and 13, with Attorney <br />Courtne,y enter i ng I nto the discuss ion. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLlENHORST - Planning and Zoning <br /> <br />Case No. 70-22. Theodore Hamm Brewina Comoany - Special Us~ <br />Permit for a 30,OOO_Gallon Propane StoraQe Tank <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved that the Council comply with the <br />Planning Commission recommendation to approve the Special Use <br />Permit for a 30,000 gallon storage tank, as shown on the site <br />plan, and subject to compliance with all other Village ordinance <br />requirements; motion was seconded by Councilman Olmen and carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Case No. 70-32, Skelly 011 Company - Variance Request <br />Councilman Hollenhorst advised the Council that Skelly 011 <br />Company has requested a 100 foot sign at its station on lexington <br />Avenue and Red Fox Road, an 84 foot sign height variance. <br /> <br />He explained that at the time the Special Use Permit for the <br />station was under consideration, Skelly 011 Company was granted <br />a 24 foot 2 Inch sign, incorporated as part of the bUilding. <br />(Variance of 8 feet 2 Inches); Skelly agreed they would not <br />request another sign height variance for this station. <br /> <br />Councilman Hollenhorst advised that the Board of Appeals and <br />Planning Commission have recommended denial of the request for <br />the 100 foot sign, and moved that the Council concur with these <br />recommendations; motion was seconded by Councilman Herrick and <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Industrial Park Conditions - Report by Carl Dale <br />Councilman Hollenhorst reviewed a report prepared by Carl Dale, <br />Midwest Planning and Research, inc., and requested enforcement <br />of ordinance regulations. <br /> <br />It was determined by the Council that copies of the report be <br />sent to the Industrial and business places, prior to a meeting <br />scheduled on October 5, 1970, (time and place to be determined), <br />at which time the grievances can be "aired". <br /> <br />(Clerk Administrator was requested to prepare a tabulation of <br />water and sewer rates charged In St. Paul, Shorevlew and <br />Rosevllle; water and sewer billings for businesses and Industries <br />In Arden Hills for 1969 and 1970 (to datel;for consideration <br />at the meeting.) <br /> <br />Proposed Additions to VlllaQe Hall and Public Works BuildlnQ <br />(See Councilman Henderson's Report) <br /> <br />t <br />.. <br /> <br />Fill Permit Application No. 70-6 - William Herrick. 1885 Noble <br />Road <br />~as moved by Councl!man Holienhorst to concur with the PlannIng <br />Commission's recommendation to approve Fill Permit No. 70-6. for <br /> <br />-4- <br />
