<br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of'Reguiar Council Meeting <br /> <br />August 10. 1970 <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN RONALD HERRICK - Parks and Recreation & Human <br />Rights <br /> <br />Human RiQhts Committee <br />Councilman Ronald Herrick reported that the Human Rights Committee <br />is holding its meeting tonight. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Committee <br />Councilman Ronald Herrick reported that the six picnic tables have <br />been received and two have been assembled and located In Ingerson <br />Park. <br /> <br />He reported that the Parks and Recreation Committee will hold Its <br />next meeting on Tuesday, August II, 1970. <br /> <br />Li~tle Lakes little league <br />Counci Iman Herrick advised that a letter from the little Lakes <br />Little League has been received, requesting the contracted payment. <br />He said that the amount of the payment will be determined at the <br />Parks and Recreation meeting Tuesday night. and he requested <br />authorization of payment. <br /> <br />The Counci I referred the matter to the Parks and Recreation Committee <br />for determination of amount of the payment. Councilman Ronald <br />Herrick was requested to advise Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist <br />of the amount; Council members are to be polled for authorization <br />of payment. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN E. GRAY HENDERSON - Finance'" Munlcip<ll Lands <br />and Buildings <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Finance Committee <br />Councilman E. Gray Henderson reported that Mr. Robert E. Nethercut <br />has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee and <br />Itemized the various matters currently under consideration by the <br />Committee; advising that the next Finance Committee meeting will <br />be held On Wednesday, August 12. 1970. <br /> <br />Water Study Sub-committee Report - Mr. Robert McNlesh <br />Copies of sub-committee Water Study reports, were distrIbuted to the <br />Council, and Mr. Robert McNiesh presented the recommendation of the <br />Water Sub-Committee tor Council approval. <br /> <br />After discussion, it was determined that an evening meeting be <br />scheduled with industrial and commercial water consumers to advise <br />them of the proposed adjusted water ,-atas. Mr. McNiesh agreed to <br />present the Water sub-Committee recommendations to the group. Mayor <br />Henry Crepeau will schedule the meeting as soon as possible. <br /> <br />19,71 Budget Study <br />The proposed 1971 Budget was referred to the Finance Committee for <br />study and its recommendations to the Council. <br /> <br />Village Hall - Proposed Addition <br />Copies of plans tor the proposed addition to the Vi Ilage Hal I. pre- <br />pared by Architect Tom Horty, were distributed to the Council. Clerk <br />Ad~inlstrator Lorraine Stromquist was requested to review the pians; <br />refer the p!<lns to the Planning Commission with any recommended <br />ch;anges; requesting that the Planning Commission review the plans <br />as sOOn as possible. holding a special meeting if this can be arranged':1 <br /> <br />'Trinity Lutheran Church - Sanitary Sewer Charges <br />Councilman E. Gray Henderson recommends that sanitary sewer charges <br />for Trinity Lutheran Church be based on th. first quarter water usage <br />of 1970; abating excess charges paid the last three quarters. It <br />was moved by Councilman John Hollenhorst that the Council concur <br />with the recommendation; seconded by Counc! Iman E.
