Benta! Agreement - C & S Manufacturing Company Attorney Courtney read his draft, dated 2/9/70, of an agreement re leasing C & S property at southeast corner of County Road 0 and Cleveland, Rosevll"e. It was moved by Councilman Olmen that the Council approve the agreement as presented, motion was seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried unanimously. The Council requested that the Public Works Committee determine, at their next meeting, the period of time the building will be needed and submit Its recommendation to the Council on February 23, 1970. New Brighton - Arden Hills Property Exchange Agreement Attorney Courtney read his draft of an Aqre~ment Between Vlllaqes 9f Arden HII Is and N~w Brighton Re Proposed Prop~rty Exchange, a copy of which was sent to Mr. Robert Schaefer, Village Manager of New Brighton. Councilman Herrick moved that the Council accept the agreement, as drafted by Attorney Courtney; motion was seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst and carried unanimously. Clerk Admln!strator Lorraine Stromquist was requested to notify Mr. Schaefer of the agreement approval by the Arden Hills Council for possible consideration by the New Brighton Council on February 10. League of Women Voters Ha~pbook Attorney Courtney advised that, after review of the "League's" 1964 edition of the Handbook, he has determined that If the 1970 edition is basad on this foremat, the Village could authorize the expenditure, up to 5200.00, of the cost of mailing by actually mai ling the books from the Village office, but a donation cannot be authorized to the League of Women Voters to help defray costs of publication of the handbook. It was moved by Councilman Hollenhorst that the Council authorize the cost of mailing the handbooks, up to 5200.00, after review and approval of the handbook by the Council; requesting that Attorney Courtney prepare the resolution; motion was seconded by Counci Iman Herrick and carried unanimously. Clerk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist was requested to obtain a "bu'~ mailing permit" for the Village to be used for this and subsequent Village mailings.
