<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 28, 2003 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"Based upon development of the property, in compliance with <br />Conditions 1-10 above and the approved Site Plan, the City <br />Council finds that health, safety, convenience, and general <br />welfare of the owners and occupants of surrounding land, in <br />particular, and the community in general, will not be adversely <br />impacted." <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson stated he would like to add that they would incorporate <br />some additional design features into the cold storage building wall to break up the <br />appearance of a singular wall and present it to Council prior to going forward. He <br />stated he wanted to amend condition number 10 to state that "the County would <br />agree to the provision of additional screening, acceptable to both the County and <br />the City, with such screening occurring when development on the TCAAP <br />property warranted such screening." <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Grant <br />seconded a motion to approve Planning Case No. 03-08: <br />Ramsey County Public Works Facility Special Use Permit, with <br />the following revisions to staff's recommendations. Condition <br />number 10 to include that the County agrees to the provision of <br />additional screening, acceptable to both the County and the <br />City, when the City deems that future development of the <br />TCAAP property warrants such screening. Condition number <br />11, to include the wording recommended by the City Attorney <br />as noted above. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Grant <br />seconded a motion to amend condition 8 to read: That the <br />building material variance as outlined in item number 13 meet <br />the approval of the City Planner and Building Inspector, and <br />that additional design features, that break up the cold <br />storage/screening wall with changes in relief, material, <br />setbacks, and/or color, be included in the variance and also <br />receive the approval of the City Council. The motion carried <br />(4-1). (Mayor Aplikowski). <br /> <br />The original motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />
