He said If they are seriously requestIng this service <br /> from Arden Hills, and Arden Hills wlsnes, he wi.11 look Into details. <br /> Hollenhorst recal led a long-time agreement with Rosevllle re Arden <br /> Hil Is reaching a certain combined water volume with Rosevllle, at <br /> which time both villages wil,. be required to join in financing a <br /> larger water main. Clerk Administrator was requested to obtain <br /> . figures re this combined volume for Council consideration. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER RICHARD O'KELLY <br /> Treasurer Richard O'Kelly reported the following: <br /> Security Transactlo~s: <br /> I. $50,000 Treasury Bill at Rosevllle matured 11/15/73, <br /> transferred to First National and $35,000 of I t added to <br /> $300,000 maturing 11/26/73. $335,000 re-invested at <br /> First National at 9.2~ for 90 days. . <br /> 2. '30,000 C.D. at Rosevi lie matured 11/24/73, re-lnvested <br /> at 7.5~ for 90 days. <br /> REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Planning and Zoning, Human <br /> Rights <br /> Arden HIlls Club - Landscape Bond <br /> Hollenhorst reported that the Arden HII Is Club has requested re- <br /> lease of It's performance bond for landscaping at Arden Hills Club <br /> at 4177 North Fernwood Avenue. He reviewed Building Inspector <br /> Squires' memorandum In which Squires explained that the landscaping <br /> Is complete except at one portion of the site where Arden Hills Club <br /> expects to expand Its facilities; stating that he agrees with the <br /> comments of the Arden Hills Club, and feels theIr request Is reasonable. <br /> In discussion, Crichton said he Inspected the site and concurs that <br /> the lan_scaplftl I. co.pl.t. .xc.pt at the ftorth...t cor..r. ....... <br /> expansIon er.e, end for the 22 Blu. spruc. .'on8 the north .1.. of <br /> the t..ftl. court. Village Financing of Utility and Street Installations. <br /> Crichton reported that the Finance Committee recommends that <br /> this may be an acceptable means of financing and promoting <br /> development within the Village If It falls within limits of <br /> legal Indebtedness. <br /> 3. Vending Machine ~Icenslng <br /> Crichton reported that the Finance Committee recommends that <br /> rest-room supplies be exempt from vending machine licensing. <br /> The Counc II requested Attorney Lynden to recommend method of <br /> accomplishing the exemption of this type of vending machine <br /> licensing. <br /> 4.
