Proposed Truck Purchase . Olmen reported that the Public Works Committee recommends the early purchase of a 1-1/2 ton truck for use in snowplowing. The Council expressed no objection to the preparation of specifications and advertisement for bids this yeer, if payment can be delayed until 1974. After dl.scusslon, Crichton moved, seconded by HerriCk, that the Coun- cil approve an Increase of $35/mo, retroactive to September I. 1973, and an additional $40/mo. on January I. 1974. Motion carried (Crepeau. HOllenhorst, Crichton, Herrick voting in favor of the motion; Olmen in opposition). Letter from New BrlQhton re Sewer Hookup ReQuest Crichton asked If the Public Works Committee has made a recommenda- tion regarding New Brighton's letter requesting the feasibility of serving a pOrtion of New Brighton with Arden Hills municipal water.
