He advised that the addition will enlarge the buIlding, but <br />will not increase the sldoyard variance, and the adjacent n~lghbor, <br />Mr. Pllgren, expressed no opposition to the proposed constructIon. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Hollonhorst moved, seconded by Olmen, that the Counci I approve the <br />variance, as requested; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Yalentlne Park Warml~q House Pro~osal. <br /> <br />Hollenhorst moved, secondod by HerriCk, that the Council concur with <br />the Parks and Recreation Committee and Planning CommiSSion recommenda- <br />tions to approve the moving of the old library building to the Valentine <br />Park, as proposed; motion carried unardmously. <br /> <br />Park Slqns - Variance <br /> <br />The Counc!1 approved the park sign variance, as propo~ed by the Parks- <br />and Recreation Committee and recomm~nded for Council approval by the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />It was noted.thaT the Planning Commission will consider amendment of <br />the Sign Ordinance (Ordinznce No. i6l et Its meeting on June 5, 1973. <br /> <br />Garage at lnqerson Park <br /> <br />Hol.lanhor'st reported that the Planning Commission had recommended that <br />the garage at Ingerson Park be demolished. Herrick advised the Council <br />of a recent fIre whic~ demol Ishad the garage.
