The Village will be notified of this polley In writing. <br /> He felt that the approximately $85,000 due on existing assessments <br /> on the Involved Arden Hills property would not hinder progress of the <br /> acquisition program. For property owners who do wish to sell, two <br /> Independent appraisals will be ordered on eechproperty before pur- <br /> chase. They asked the <br /> county to consider the possibility of establishing a fifty mile corri- <br /> dor pattern In the open space program with the following additions: <br /> I- Acquire the drainage strip between lake Josephine and <br /> lake Johanna. <br /> 2. Ask New Brighton not to let the existing long lake Beech <br /> revert to private ownership. <br /> 3. Consider the use of some existing lerge culverts under <br /> 35W and County Road F as passage ways under the roads. <br /> With the above Items added 'to the existing. plan, a pOSSible pede.trllln <br /> traffIc path and/or snowmobile route mIght be established. They <br /> estImated that most neighborhood areas today have a maximum of two <br /> miles of walking area and many areas heve much less. <br /> Mr. Holmberg said his staff wIll study the proposal.
