Ludlow, 1515 Edgewater Avenue. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Henderson, that a <br />letter be sent to the Ramsey County Soard and to the CommIssIoner <br />of Natural Resources, advIsing them of the severity of the problem <br />on the lakes In ~rden Hills; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Residents were encouraged to write letters also, requesting controls <br />regarding noise and motor sizes on Lake Josephine and Lake Johanna. <br /> <br />Mr. Norman Bakken, 3203 Shorewood Drive, commented on the severity <br />of the problem on Lake Johanna, causing severe erosion in hIs area. <br /> <br />Mayor Crepeau advised that the sheriff Is patrolling lake Johanna on <br />weekends, Issul~g citations. He also advised that Ramsey Coun~v Is <br />trying to Illaintaln the lake level at approximately ~. r377 <br /> <br />Mr. Weidemann, ! f90 TIller Lane, asked If controls could be pIeced <br />on these lakes similar to the controls on lakes In Minneapolis <br />(Calhoun and Harrlot, etc.l; Mayor Crepeau advised that the Village <br />cannot legislate o~ the lakes - these controls would have to be made <br />by the Shte. <br /> <br />REPORT OF V~lLAGE ENGiNEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Street Improvement 72-3. After discussIon, <br />Hollenhotst moved, seconded by Henderson, that the Councl I approve <br />the plans and specifications as presented, subject to approval of <br />Maintenance Supervisor B. Lund reviewed the request from Robert Johnston to extend <br />the sanitary sewer to his property at 3672 North Snelling Avenue. <br />The Council directed Engineer Lund to prepare a cost estimate for the <br />extension of the sanitary sewer to the two houses on Snel ling Ave., <br />north of County Road E. <br /> <br />!xle E I de PI at_ - Wa...ter Sa 'rv i c.:) to Lot ! 0 <br /> <br />Engineer Lund advised that Lot 10, Eide Terrace, will be serViced with <br />W,d--er from Hamllne Avenue rather than from Eide Circle.
