The matter was referred to the Public Works Committee for Its recom- mendations to the Councl I. Proposed Reserve Capacity Sewer Charqes Summary - Metro Sewer Board . Engineer Lund provided the Council with a copy of a summary of a report he received regarding proposed reserve capacity sewer eharges which, If approved, will be effective January I, 1973; advising that new single fam! Iy homes would be charged $350.00, multiple-family $280.00 per unit and mobile homes $245.00 per mobl Ie home unit. He said this charge would be based on anticipated housln~ starts and would be made on all new building permits and would provide that all existing buildings not connected to sanitary sewer be required to pay the proposed service availability charges within two years, regardless of whether a sewer connection Is ~vallable at that time.
