WORK PLAN AND PROJECT APPROACH <br />TASK 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />AND COORDINATION MEETINGS <br />Bolton & Menk will designate Brad Fisher as the project manager <br />to provide a single point of contact throughout the duration <br />of the project and to conduct overall project management to <br />keep the project on schedule and on budget. We will attend and <br />coordinate the necessary meetings with city staff, as laid out in <br />the project schedule. We will also attend and participate in up to <br />five city council meetings or work sessions, as required for the <br />project, to present project information. <br />City Staff Project Kickoff Meetings and <br />Design Coordination Meetings <br />Bolton & Menk will conduct a feasibility kickoff meeting and a <br />design kickoff meeting with city staff. At the meetings, we intend <br />to revisit our project understanding and outline our approach <br />to meeting the city’s project goals and determine any necessary <br />initial meetings with other governing agencies. We will prepare to <br />lead with the city’s vision during discussion with these agencies. <br />Up to five subsequent design coordination meetings will be held <br />to: <br />• Review and discuss the technical design layout during the <br />feasibility stage <br />• Discuss 60, 90, and 100 percent plans <br />• Determine one additional meeting with topic/need during the <br />project development process <br />To minimize consultant time for the city, we intend to host these <br />meetings virtually. <br />Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) <br />Bolton & Menk has a rich history in designing, permitting, and <br />constructing these types of projects, specifically in communities <br />throughout the RCWD. We know what the RCWD will expect from <br />us, and they are familiar with our permitting submittal packages. <br />This translates to effective communication, uninterrupted project <br />schedules, and cost savings for the City of Arden Hills. <br />The City of Arden Hills can be assured the Bolton & Menk team will provide outstanding technical <br />deliverables, exceptional leadership in public and stakeholder involvement, and superior project <br />management in a timely and cost-effective manner.
