<br />size garage door some years back, now we have this. Maintenance
<br />of benches and fence on Sandeen Rd. are poor.

<br />Mrs. H. Erickson, 3442 Siems Ct. Employee of home, emploYment
<br />opportunities for residents are prime benefit, young people have
<br />started first jobs as waitresses and maintenance boys, flexible
<br />hours convenient for housewives, etc.

<br />ations for this addition have. been going on for some time, confirmed
<br />that orders may be larger but felt truck traffic would not increase.

<br />Two resIdents from Presbyterian Homes spoke, one commenting that
<br />if all elderly couid live as well as she does, they'd be lucky,
<br />grounds are not closed to neighbors, neighbors walk dogs on poInt,
<br />grounds are beautiful, nearby resident has old red truck piied
<br />with lumber along fence. 'The other resident noted that site had
<br />been donated by member of House of Hope Church, appreciatIon is
<br />due to al I the fine work that has been done In developing facIlity
<br />and services.

<br />Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn. that whi Ie Council endorses
<br />services beIng provided and offered by Presbyterian Homes, Special
<br />Use Permit be denied because of:
<br />I. Excessive height of building.
<br />2. Excessive development of this plan for this residential
<br />neighborhood and far too much intensIfication for this
<br />
