Roadways prob I em; <br /> 2. Approval of water system; <br /> 3. Approval of sewer system; <br /> 4. Compl lance with approved plans. <br />Pemtom Utilities - Status Report <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Lund reviewed the status of the Pemtom streets and utilities, reporting <br />that considerable work remains before final Inspection can be completed. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER RICHARD O'KELLY <br /> <br />Investments <br /> <br />Treasurer O'Kelly reported an Investment of $135,000 on August 8, 1974, <br />for 90 days at 11.25% Interest. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JAMES WINGERT - Planning and Zoning, Board of Appeals <br /> <br />Comprehensive Development Plan <br /> <br />Wingert requested that Council comments and recommended changes re the <br />Comprehensive Development Plan be submitted to the Village office, or <br />to him, as soon as possible so a concensus of the Council can be reached <br />and referred to the Planning Commission for consideration. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Finance <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN CHARLES CRICHTON - Public Works <br /> <br />Stave-Clatterbuck Water Service Connection <br /> <br />Crichton reviewed the proposed plastic water service connection requested <br />by Mr. Stave and Mr. Clatterbuck to serve both residences on Snel ling <br />Avenue from a point on Cummings Lane. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Engineer Lund reported that plastic water pipe Is now being used exten- <br />sively; recommends the polyethylene type plastic water service line <br />with a 160 psi pressure rating as a minimum. In discussion of size of <br />line needed, Enplneer Lund said the proposed It" line should not be a <br />problem, but pressure wil I be checked before determining the size of <br />line needed. Lund noted that plastic Is difficult to thaw because of <br />the necessity of using steam. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved that the Council approve the Stave- <br />Clatterbuck request to instal I a plastic water service connection to <br />serve both properties, on condition that a minimum 160 psi pressure <br />rated pipe be used; size of line to be that deemed sufficient by the <br />Vii lage Enplneer after pressure check. Motion was seconded by Feyerelsen, <br />and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />It was noted that this water line cannot be used as an official ground; <br />electrical system requires Independent grounding. <br /> <br />It was further noted by the applicants that a "" plastic sewer line Is <br />proposed to serve these two residences, separated from the water line <br />by a depth of about I foot, both lines to be located in the same B foot <br />deep trench. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
