j Vii lage Council Minutes -4- Aug. 12, 1914 On the Job Training Student Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council approve the hiring of an "On the Job Training Student", on a part time basis, for the Public Works Department for 1914-15 school year at $2.50 per hour. Motion carried unanimously. Blacktopping of Driveways to Booster Station and lift Stations 63 and 64 . Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Council authorize the Public Works Department to proceed with the blacktopping of the drive- ways to the booster station and 11ft stations 63 and #4; accepting the Bituminous Roadways, Inc.'s proposal for the bituminous surfacing In the amount of $1,210.00. Motion carried unanimously. The projects are to be charged to the sewer and water utilities instead of to Public Works Reserve as budgeted. REPORT OF COUNCilMAN WilliAM FEYEREISEN - Parks and Recreation Human Rights Pemtom Park Dedication Robert Anderson suggested that the Council base the park dedication for the north Pemtom project on the present appraised value of the land, rather than the purchase price as proposed. The Council concurred with Mr. Anderson's suggestion. Proposed Fenced Access to Ingerson Park Engineer Deane Anklan's letter approving the proposed fenced access to Ingerson Park, along Lexington Avenue, was referred to the Parks and Recreation Committee for its consideration and recommendations to the Counc i I. Hunters Park Trail Access to Shopping Center on County Road E R. Anderson asked if an access from the Hunters Park tral I to the Shopping Center has been provided, or If it meets a 12' fence at the north of Hunters Park. Matter was referred to Park Director Buckley to pursue. Human Rights Commission . Feyereisen reviewed the tentative agenda for the next Human Rights Commission meeting on September 5th, explaining that, because of vacations, the August meeting was cancelled because so few were In attendance.
