Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Blacktopping of Driveways to Booster Station and lift Stations 63 and 64 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Council authorize the <br />Public Works Department to proceed with the blacktopping of the drive- <br />ways to the booster station and 11ft stations 63 and #4; accepting the <br />Bituminous Roadways, Inc.'s proposal for the bituminous surfacing In <br />the amount of $1,210.00. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />The projects are to be charged to the sewer and water utilities instead <br />of to Public Works Reserve as budgeted. <br /> <br />Glenpaul DralnaQe Project <br /> <br />Crichton moved, secon.ed by Wingert, that the Council authorize advertise- <br />ment for bids for the G I enpau I Ora I na-ge Project I n accordance with <br />specifications submitted; motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(Engineer Lund to determine earliest possible date to advertise.) <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCilMAN WilliAM FEYEREISEN - Parks and Recreation <br />Human Rights <br /> <br />Pemtom Park Dedication <br /> <br />Robert Anderson suggested that the Council base the park dedication for <br />the north Pemtom project on the present appraised value of the land, <br />rather than the purchase price as proposed. <br /> <br />The Council concurred with Mr. Anderson's suggestion. <br /> <br />Proposed Fenced Access to Ingerson Park <br /> <br />Engineer Deane Anklan's letter approving the proposed fenced access <br />to Ingerson Park, along Lexington Avenue, was referred to the Parks <br />and Recreation Committee for its consideration and recommendations <br />to the Counc i I. <br /> <br />Hunters Park Trail Access to Shopping Center on County Road E <br /> <br />R. Anderson asked if an access from the Hunters Park tral I to the <br />Shopping Center has been provided, or If it meets a 12' fence at the <br />north of Hunters Park. <br /> <br />Matter was referred to Park Director Buckley to pursue. <br /> <br />Human Rights Commission <br /> <br />. Feyereisen reviewed the tentative agenda for the next Human Rights <br />Commission meeting on September 5th, explaining that, because of <br />vacations, the August meeting was cancelled because so few were In <br />attendance. <br /> <br />REPORT OF MAYOR HENRY J.
