Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Water Service Contract Between Rosevllle and Arden Hills <br />Crichton referred the Council to Jl.ttorney Lynden's letter of 7/16/74 <br />and after discussion, moved that the Council authorize execution of <br />the FIRST ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT FOR WATER SERVICE BETWEEN THE VILLAGE <br />OF ROSEVILLE AND THE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS, by the Mayor and Clerk <br />Administrator. Motion was seconded by Wingert and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Lift Station No.8 <br />Crichton reported that the Pub~ic Works Committee recommends the up- <br />grading of Lift Station No. B, which has been a continual source of <br />trouble. <br /> <br />After discussion. Council concurred with Crichton's recommendation <br />that Engineer Lund be authorized to proceed with preparation of recom- <br />mendations for lift station No.8 (Hamllne Avenue and Ingerson Road); <br />report to include: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Capacity d~.t~$~~t~~~ed on anticipated need (suggested <br />use of ~p~~r~"e Qevele~me". rlaR In making <br />calculations). <br />Type of lift station for this area. <br />Some type of auxilllary power supply (portable, permanent or <br />combination of both, for use at this and other lift stations). <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br /> <br />Vodonlk Sewer Service <br />Crichton referred the Council to a memo from Johansen, 7-18-74, re- <br />porting that Vodonlk, sewer service problem was caused by Village water <br />main Installation; therefore, repairs will be at Village expense. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN WILLIAM FEYEREISEN - Parks and Recreation, <br />Human Rights <br /> <br />~ounds View Joint Powers Aoreement <br />Buckley reported that Ralph Tieso (Tieso Flectrlc) estimates the cost <br />of light installations at the tennis courts at $5,000.00, or less. <br /> <br />Crepeau suggested that cost estimates also be obtained from Hoffmann <br />Electric and Hi Ilcrest Electric (Village residents)o <br /> <br />In review of the JoInt Powers Agreement, the following comments were <br />noted: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I. Exhibit A (page I) is not attached. <br />2. Page 4 wording change (last line) - .Hlt shall give the <br />City not less than forty-eight (48) hours notice... <br />3. Page 5 ('6) wording change to add "after 90 days ap~urte- <br />nances will remain the property. of the City; costs tor) <br /> <br />4. ~1,rl:2~:,I,(d~~"t~~#-~..,L~~ <br /> <br />Buckley was requested to review these changes with Mr. Bauer, Mounds <br />View School District. <br /> <br />After discussion of proposed lighting specifications, Buckley was <br />requested to obtain: <br /> <br />I. Estimated power costs for tennis courts (Roseville cost <br />figures>. <br />2. Lighting Installation estimates from Hillcrest Electric <br />and Hoffmann Electric. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
