Proposed LI~hting Change <br />Adams requested to change lighting fixtures In the Arden Manor <br />Mobile Home Park development, and referred the Counci I to <br />Suburban Engineering, Inc.'s letter of May 17,1974, re the <br />proposed Sphere-Lites substitution. <br /> <br />The request was referrred to the Planning Commission for Its <br />recommendations to the Council. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER RICHARD O'KELLY <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Treasurer O'Kelly reported he has made no investments since the last <br />Council meeting, but reported he plans to Invest the $50,000 due <br />June 3, 1974 In Treasury Bills until June i9, 1974 at which time he <br />will consolidate this with the $300,000 due June 19, 1974. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN JAMES WINGERT - Planning and Zoning, Board of <br />Appeals <br /> <br />Case No. 74-9, John Madura - Fence Variance <br />Wingert moved that the Council concur with the Planning Commission's <br />recommendation to approve the Issuance of a Building Permit for a <br />4' chain link fence In the front yard at 1817 West County Road D. Motion <br />was seconded by Feyerelsen and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Com rehenslve Develo men'r Plan <br />ngert reported tha the lannlng Commission has recommended Council <br />adoption of the Revised Comprehensive Development Plan, Including Appen- <br />dix No. I (Comprehensive Park Plan), Addendum and Amended Land Use <br />Map - 1974 (to be prepared by Otto Schmid). <br /> <br />The Plan was referred to the Councl I for its review and comments, and <br />the matter was tabled until the Council meeting of June 24th. <br /> <br />Attorney Lynden will determine procodure re referral to the Metro <br />Counc! i and advise Clerk AdmInistrator McNlesh. <br /> <br />51 n at 96 <br />A new s gn, adver sing commercial property for sale (located In an <br />R-I Zone) was referred to Police Chief Sexton for correction. <br /> <br />Case No. 73-49.. Bennett Goldberg - Landscape Plan <br />After review of the amended landscape plan for Red Fox Inn, Wingert <br />moved, seconded by Feyerelsen, that Councl I approve the landscape plan, <br />dated 5/28/74, and ISsuance of the Building Permit for Red Fox Inn, <br />s~bJect to Attorney Lyndon's approval of the performance bond. Motion <br />carried unanim~usly. <br /> <br />(5 minute Intermission) <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Finance <br /> <br />Permit Apprc'Jal <br />Olmen moved. seconded by WIngert, that the Council approve the fol low- <br />Ing permits as requested: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Garage Sale at 3160 Ridgewood Road - Mrs. W. A. Krueger <br />Household Sale at 1830 Noble Road - Mr. M. France (MR. Leon <br />Godeke, applicant). <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />.!..!2sLu_strlal REjvenue Bonds - I. C. Systems <br />Mr. John Sullivan referred the Council to an amended resolution pre- <br />pared by Peter Seed, Bond Counsel, and thanked the Counci I for the <br />re-hearlng on the matter. <br /> <br />Mrs. Ruth Johnfoon, President of I. C. Systems, described accelerated <br />interest rates since application was made for the I. C. Systems bul Id- <br />;ng and explained that the construction contract was re-wrltten, on <br />~he advice of counsel, to allow for revenue bond financing which <br />could save I. C.
