A slide presentation by the Planner (Shetler), depicting <br />the maps which are incorporated In the plan. <br />2. Planner Schmid wi II prepare "overlays" of alternate <br />arsenal land-use plans for cO,nsideratlon at the public <br />hearing, Including the proposed Ramsey County Open Space <br />proposal, which was endorsed by the Village Parks and <br />Recreation Committee. <br />3. Incorporation of the "Comprehensive Park Plan For <br />Recreation And Open Space" as Appendix I of the Compre- <br />hensive Plan. ' <br /> <br />The Council expressed concurrence with the Comprehensive Plan <br />presentation as proposed by Wingert. <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN STAN OLMEN - Finance <br /> <br />Request for Waiver of Permit Fee - Unification Church <br />Olmen reported that Unification Church, 3200 17th Avenue South, <br />Minneapolis, has applied for a permit to 50liclt funds In the VII~age <br />of Arden HII Is and requests waiver of the permit fee. <br /> <br />, <br />After discussion, O/men moved, seconded by~rlchton,that Council <br />approve Issuance of the permit, but deny waiver of the permit fee <br />of $15.00. Motion carried (Olmen, Crichton, Wingert, Crepeau voting <br />In favor of the motion; Feyerelsen abstaining). <br /> <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMAN CHARLES CRICHTON - Public Works, Ordinance <br />Review <br /> <br />!,ubllc Works Meeting of April 10, 1974 <br />A. Inspection Procedure <br />Crichton reported that the Public Works Committee recommends <br />that the Public Works Department provide fol low-up Inspection <br />of water and sewer utilities before Vi Ilage acceptance of <br />utilities which are to be dedicated. <br /> <br />After discussion, the matter was referred to Crichton to <br />set up specific procedure with the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />6. Manpower Study <br />Crichton referred the Council to the "Manpower Study" whIch <br />detal Is the need for an additional Public Works Department <br />employee. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that the Councl I approve <br />the hiring of a full-time Public Works Department employee; <br />authorizing Johansen to proceed to find the appropriate em- <br />ployee. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />C.
