Us <br /> 25 yeal"s; has no complaints re the service of the Arden HIDis Police <br /> department; has never called them on his own behalf; appreciates the <br /> Job done by our part-time officers, as we! I as the full-time men; feels <br /> sorry that County cannot absorb the part-time men as well; noted that <br /> part-time men wilD be excluded; advised that the Stanton Survey Indicates <br /> a long-range recomnlendatlon that Arden HI I I s contract with Ramsey County <br /> for Its poi Ice service; has no reason to beUleve the City will have <br /> less service with the County. <br /> Crepeau said that no personalities are Involved, as tar as he Is con- <br /> cerned; feels too that part-time officer Goerftz has done a tremendous <br /> Job. <br /> Woodburn said he has been pleased with the service of the Arden Hills <br /> Police Department over the 16 years he has been a resident; agrees <br /> that Officer Goerltz has done a tremendous job for Arden Hills; wouUd <br /> recommend that, If City contracts with County, that he be given every <br /> consideration for a job with the County. <br /> Motion was re-stated and following the discussion, the motion carried <br /> (Crepeau, Hanson, Woodburn voting In favor of the motion; Crichton voting <br /> in cpposltlonl. <br />. Sectlo~ <br /> V - Allocation of Costs <br /> Lynden referred Council to his letter of October 6, 1977 and <br /> recommended Councl~ approval of the Fire Agreement. <br /> Woodburn moved, seconded by Crichton, that Counc I i adopt <br /> Resolution No. 77-63, RESOLUTION AMENDING JO~NT POWERS AGREE- <br /> MENT, SECTjON V - ALLOCATION OF COSTS. Motion carried unani- <br /> mously. <br /> B. Resolutlon.No. 77-64. ApprovlnQ Fire Protection AQreement and <br /> AuthorlzfnQ Mayor and Clerk to Execute AQreement <br /> Woodburn moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council adopt Resolu- <br /> tion No. 77-64, APPROVING FIRE PROTECTION AGREEMENT AND AUTHOR- <br /> IZjNG MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT.
