Karth Lake Estates (Harstad/Elbenstelner) _ Case No. 77-4 <br />Crichton reported no progress with park dedication nego- <br />tiations re Karth Lake Estates; suggested that park dedica- <br />tion be based on 16ie/sq. ft. (determined value of nearby <br />properties) . <br /> <br />Developer Marcel Elbenstelner asked that park dedIcatIon <br />negotiations be deferred until a later date. <br /> <br />D. Town Crier Pancake House (Art Hage) - Case No. 77-14 <br />Wingert reported that he has discussed the Town Crier Pan- <br />cake House park dedication with builder Art Hage; not re- <br />so I ved to date. <br /> <br />Wingert reported that the Landscape Bond for the Town Crier <br />Pancake House property had been written In the amount of <br />$6000, Instead of the requested $6700 (125% of estimated <br />cost of landscaping). Wingert moved that Council accept <br />the $6000 Landscape Bond; landscapIng to be completed prior <br />to Issuance of occupancy permit. MotIon was seconded by <br />Crichton and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />E. Janet Estates (Skyline Builders) - Case No. 77-11 <br />Wingert reported no progress re park dedication negotiations; <br />has not been able to contact the developer; wIll pursue matter. <br /> <br />Revision to Comprehensive Perk Plan <br />Crichton read a proposed revision of the Comprehensive Park Plan, <br />Section V. SpeCific Implementation Recommendations I. b. <br /> <br />After discussion, Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br />approve the revision to the Comprehensive Park Plan, as amended, as <br />fo II ow s: <br /> <br />SectIon V Specific Implementation Recommendations <br />i .8. ... <br /> <br />I.b. Area 12 (Lake Johanna East) <br /> <br />This Is the one neighborhood where it wIll be difficult <br />to centrally locate one park site to serve the entire area. <br />However, one site of about eight acres north of County <br />Road E coupled wIth the existing Freeway Park and Llndeys <br />trIangle will cover abo~t 1000 people within i mile. An <br />additional site of two to three acres should be sought <br />toward the south end of the neighborhood. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Letter re Town Crier Publication <br />Council authorized letter, as amended, TO be mailed to residents who <br />have registered concerns re Town Crier publication. <br /> <br />Fire Protection Board <br />Woodburn reported that the Fire Board Is currently considering the pro- <br />posal thaT fire protection cost sharing be based on estImated market <br />value; would Include value of tax-exempt properties, but would not <br />Include the Twin CitIes Army AmmunitIon Plant property. <br /> <br />MTC Bus Route No. 38 <br />McNlesh was requested to obtain report of ridership for MTC Route <br />No. 38 for CounCil's review. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VOLLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Case No. 77-38. Schedule Public Hearing Ra SpecIal Usa Permit for <br />Undararound 011 Tank at Control Data CorporatIon <br />WIngert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Council schedule the Public <br />Hearing re Case No. 77-38, Special Use Permit for Underground 011 <br />Tank at Control Data Corporation, before the Planning Commission on <br />August 2, 1977 at 8::S0 p.m. at the Village Hall.
