Motion carried unanimoUSly. <br /> <br />March 28, 1977 <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 197, Rezoning of Property at 3151 Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard from R-2 to R-B <br />Woodburn moved, that Council suspend the rules, consider this the <br />second reading of the ordinance and approve Ordinance No. 197, AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 99, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY RE- <br />ZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3151 LAKE JOHANNA BOULEVARO, as submitted. <br />Motion was seconded by Crichton and carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Case No. 77-2, Edgewater South Preliminary Plat - Approval of Ease- <br />ments <br />Lynden referred Council to his letter of 3/28/77 re Case No, 77-2, <br />Mar-Don Homes, Inc. - Preliminary Plat Approval. <br /> <br />After discussion, Attorney Lynden was requested to work with the <br />developers Tramm and O'Meara re provision of a 20' wide pedestrianway <br />from the cul-de-sac to the pedestrian trail on Edgewater South Addi- <br />tion and Heights of Johanna Lake plats. <br /> <br />Case No. 76-13, Karth Lake HII Is - Preliminary Plat <br />Wingert referred Council to report of Planner Oriyn Miller (3/24/77) <br />re certain items which do not comply with the Zoning and Subdivision <br />Ordinances; noted that the mean depth of 130' and the lot width of <br />95' at the building set-back line on Lot 4, Block I, can be accom- <br />pliShed by adjusting the cul-de-sac to the west; also mean depth <br />of 130' (Lot 6, Block i) can be corrected In cui-de-sac shift. <br /> <br />Counci I discussed the variance needs on the other lots as noted by <br />Miller, and also referred to the Parks and Recreation Committee's <br />recommendation to Incorporate a pedestrian way on the plat toward <br />Cummings Park. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson, that Council <br />approve the Pre~lminary Plat of Karth Lake Hills; Final Plat to <br />correct the variance needs by adjustment of th~ cui-de-sac to elimi- <br />nate varlane~r, on Lots 4 and 6, Block i; shifting lot lines to eliml- <br />"a1'.. to1- \', 131"e.1<. i "i\il ,-"t I. Block 2 variances; final plat to <br />IndicaTe a 10' ",Ide easement on the eas" side of Lot I, Block 2, In <br />favor of the City, for a walkway aaS~~9nt tow~r1 Cummings Park; final <br />park dedication to be negotiated with the City. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Case No. 77-4, Kerth Lake Estates - Preliminary Plat <br />Developers Elbenstelner and Harstad reported that they have not <br />reached an agreement wiTh Pilgrim House; consequently nave a right- <br />of way problem whiCh Is not resolv.ed. <br /> <br />A~torney Nordling Informed the Council that he Is representing Pilgrim <br />HOUSe, as well as Hartmarks; recommends that it Is in the best interest <br />of the residents In this area to have the cul-de-sac stroets as shown <br />In the revised piat (3/24/771 and to retain the hills and trees which <br />provide a noise buffer.
