Motion carried unanimously. <br /> REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGI NEER DONALD CHRI STOFFERSEN <br /> County Road F and Hemline Avenue Improvements <br /> County Road F construction Is completed, except for f i net wearing <br /> course and slopeclearlng. Completion of project wll I be In spring <br /> 1917. <br /> Due to weather conditions, Hamllne Avenue Improvement cannot be com- <br /> pleted until spring 1977. Crichton noted that entrance to Pemtom has <br /> sma II apron, suggesting that apron to the south be widened when <br /> Hemline Avenue Improvement Is done. Woodburn moved, seconded by <br /> Hanson, that Council approve Change Order No. I , extending time for <br /> completion to June 1977 . Motion carried unanimously. <br /> . Karth Lake Feasibility Study <br /> Chr I stoffersen reported that he had contacted property owner north <br /> of the Amble property, who advised property Is for sale. Ma rce I <br /> Elbenstelner advised Council that he and Keith Harstad control the <br /> Christensen property and are negotiating to acquire abutting tracts. <br /> Their plan Is to subdivide the area Into single-fam! Iy home sites; <br /> would like to have Village I nsta II sewe r, water, streets and storm <br /> drainage; engineer's layout of facilities fits we I I with their tenta- <br /> tive subdivision plans. Christoffersen said the pr.oject couldba ,ready <br /> for spring construction If developers were ready by February with Pre- <br /> liminary Plat for proposed subdivision. <br /> Council directed engineer to check with Charles Amble re t I m I n g 0 f <br /> proposed utility construction. Elbenstelner stated he would get <br /> started on Preliminary Plat procedure and would write Council re- <br /> questing that the Village I nsta II uti Iltles and streets for proposed <br /> plat. <br /> OTHER BUSnNESS <br /> Case No. 76-40, lot Spilt and Variance - Irving Rein <br /> Wingert noted that the requested variance In lot width from 85 ft. <br /> to 75 ft. was consistent with abutting property. <br /> Wingert moved, seconded by Woodburn, that Counc II app rove the lot <br /> . spilt and variance as recommended by the Planning Commission on 11/3/76. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Sky II ne Bu I I ders <br /> William Dolan, architect tor Skyline Builders, reported that the <br /> developer now plans to submit a proposal to the Planning Commis- <br /> sion on December 7th for single family housing, since there was <br /> considerable objection to the townhouse proposal submitted to the <br /> Planning Commission In October. Dolan requested Councl I to extend <br /> time for removal of fill to spring pending Planning Commission recom- <br /> mending approval ot single fem II y proposed development on December 7th. <br /> Mr. Dolan said that had he been aware of the importance of the Decem- <br /> ber 1st deadline tor remove I of temporary fill , he might have been <br /> able to submit single family development proposal to the Planning <br /> Commission In November. <br /> Counc I I noted that Mr. Kiefer had assured the Council In June that <br /> six months would be ample time for him to secure approval for develop- <br /> -3- <br /> --- <br /> ----------- --- --- <br />
