Required parking stat Is are reduced In number because <br />spaces are occup1ed by boats on display; variance has <br />already been granted permitting fewer parking stal Is than <br />requi red for retai I sales area of the bui Iding. <br /> <br />After discussion, Woodburn asked Mr. Wegleitner if he would actively <br />pursue an application tor Variance to permit the outdoor display of <br />12 - 15 boats for a specified length time, if Councl I rescinds Its <br />previous action requiring the removal of the boats which are stored <br />outdoors on The premises. WegleiTner agreed to make application for <br />such a variance. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Council suspend action <br />of last week (5/24/76) directing that boats be removed entirely from <br />the outdoor premises of Sitzmark Ski and Sail. Motion carried. <br />(Woodburn, Feyerelsen, Crepeau voting In favor of the motion; Crichton <br />and Wingert voting in opposition.) <br /> <br />(Wegleitner stated he wi I I move boats in the morning to area across <br />front of building only.) <br /> <br />M.T.C. Bus Route #38 <br />Crichton reported thaT he met with the General Mana!:rer of Operations <br />at M. T .C. and found that although M.T .C. had not actually priced out <br />alternative routes, subjeCTive evaluations of potential ridershi~, <br />etc. had been made. <br /> <br />McNlesh reported two cal Is from Arden Hi lis residents advising <br />Counci I of their desire that Route 38 be approved - would use this <br />express route to downtown Minneapolis. <br /> <br />After discussion, Feyereis~ove., s#.20.Jnn_~ci~e~ i>'~ .ro tonf'J.ha"tC;9JJ/.I~II <br />grant approval of M.T.C. . 6Af~pe I .~~~ <br />which time representatives of M.T. . are requested 0 r port on <br />Route 38 ridership etc. Motion carried. (Feyereisen, Crichton, <br />Crepeau voting in favor .of the motion; Wingert and Woodburn voting <br />in opposition.) <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />June Counci I Meeting Schedule <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that June Counci I Meetings be <br />scheduled on June 14,21 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. aT the Village Hall. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1976 Elections - Precinct Boundaries and Foiling Places <br />McNiesh referred Counci I to her memo of 5/28/76 re proposed alternate <br />polling places for Precincts I and 2, and/or split of Precinct I, <br />tor Council consideration. <br /> <br />After discussion, Feyereisen moved that Councl I aUThorize changing <br />the Polling Place for PI-ecinct No. I to Valentine Hills Elementary <br />School. Motion was seconded by WingerT an~ carr1ed unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Memos from Pari,s Oi rector John Buck~ <br />Approval of Hiring of 4 CErA Employees <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Feyereisen, that Counci I authorize <br />the hiring of the fourCETA empl~yeesat the rates liSTed in <br />Buckley memo of 6/1/76. <br /> <br />Park Equipment Purchases <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Counci I authorize <br />the purchase of the Climbing Net for Ingerson Park at $650. <br />5~t()J(Capital Outlay - #510) and the purchase of a 72" Push Ball <br />aT $185 (Sports Eouipment - #215), Motion carried unanimously. <br />- /,/ (- "'~J7J <br />Proposed Sprinkl in_g Ban. <br />McNiesh referred Cou'1cll to her memo of 6/1/76 re possible sprinkling <br />ban during Water Towt3r Painting. Crichton moved, seconded by <br />Feyereisen, that Council author'ize Village Engineer, Public Works <br />Sup8rviso~ and Clerk Administrator to Instioate the Sprinkling Ban <br /> <br />-3- <br />
