Motion car- <br />ried (Feyereisen, Wingert, Crichton voting In favor of the motion, <br />Woodburn voting in opposition). <br /> <br />Lynden was requested to gather some information re Attorney <br />General's opinion. Second reading of Ordinance was scheduled <br />for JUne 14th Council Meeting. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coin-Operated Ne~aper Boxes <br />Lynden referred Counci I to his letter of 5-20-76 re Coin-Operated <br />Newspaper Boxes. <br /> <br />In discussion; it was the general feeling of the Council to en- <br />force the I icensing requirement ~r delete coin-operated newspaper <br />boxes from the Ordinance. No Council action was taken. <br /> <br />REPORT OF PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR HANS JOHANSEN <br /> <br />Survey of Catch Basin Grates <br />Johansen referred Council to his memo of 5-21-76 and reported that <br />the Public Works Committee recommends replacing the 97 grates rather <br />than taking corrective measures. <br /> <br />In discussion, Gounci I was in general concurrence that replacement <br />costs be considered in next year's budget. No action was taken <br />by Council. <br /> <br />Meeting re County Roa~ Maintenance <br />Johansen referred Counci I to his memo o'r 5-13-76, and advised that <br />he wi II get prices of salt-sand from various sources; last year's <br />source will no longer beav.l lable. <br /> <br />No Parking Signs - Shorewood Drive <br />Johansen reported that he placed two "No'Parklng" signs on Shore- <br />wood Drive at the 'request of the Police Department.
