Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Roof Repair Estimates - 3242 New Brighton Road <br />Johansen referred Council to his memo of 4/23/76, and attached quotes <br />received for roof repair at 3242 New Brighton Road. <br /> <br />After review of the two quotes received: <br /> <br />Allweather Roof, Inc. <br />Ampco, Inc. <br /> <br />$1056.00 <br />945.00 <br /> <br />Feyerelsen moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council aWard the bid <br />to Allweather Roof, Inc. at a cost of $1,056.00. Motion carried <br />(Feyereisen, Wingert, Crepeau voting In favor of the motion; Crichton <br />and Woodburn voting in opposition). <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER DONALO CHRISTOF~ERSEN <br /> <br />Construction and SI nal Revisions at T.H.96 and Lexin <br />Christoffersen referred Council to his letter of 5 <br />Minnesota Traffic Revisions at State Trunk Highway 96 <br />Avenue~ and to Resolution No. 76-24. <br /> <br />ton AVenue <br />6 re Ar,den Hills <br />and Lexington <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 76-24, approving the plans and special provisions for the improve- <br />ment of T. H. No. 96, identified as S.P. 6224-24-25 (96=96). Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Bids for Painting Elevated Water Tank <br />Christoffersen referred Council to his letter of 4/20/76 re Painting <br />of the 500 M Gallon Steel Elevated Water Tank, recommending that <br />contract be awarded to the low bidder of either the Base Bid (inside <br />tank) or Alternate Bid (Inside and outside). <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, Seconded by Woodburn, that Council <br />award the bid to Allied Painting and Decorating, in the amount of <br />$8,280, for painting the inside of the elevated tank (Base Bid). <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />1976 Sealcoatlng Project Specifications <br />Woodburn moved, seconded by Crichton, that Counci I approve the 1976 <br />Sealcoating Project Specifications, as submitted, and authorize adVer- <br />tisement for bids; bid opening to be at 2:00 p.m. on May 14, 1976, at <br />the Vi Ilage Hall. H. 96) and <br />County Road F (Lexington to Hamllne} are not included In the 1976 <br />Sealcoatlng project; can be added as ~~. ~~)f one or both are to <br />be included). a; ~ <br /> <br />Catch Basins - Fernwood Avenue <br />Christoffersen advised that existing rectangular catch basins on Fern- <br />wood Avenue, and probably elsewhere in the Village, running parallel <br />with tho curb are dangerous to bike riders; bike tires can drop into <br />gratIng slots. <br /> <br />JOhansen was requested by Counci I to determine the number and location <br />of rectangular catch basins in the Vi Ilage into which bicycle tires <br />could drop, and to advis,e Council of estimated replacement qr repair <br />costs. <br /> <br />Application for Payment No.3, Lift Station No.8 - Par-Z Contracting, <br />Inc. <br />Christoffersen referred Council to his letter of 4/26/76 re Revisions <br />to Lift Station No.8 and attached Appl icat/on for Payment No.3. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
