Miller noted that both lots are developed and <br />both exceed the minimum area and dimensional requirements <br />before and after the proposed split and consolidation. <br /> <br />Hollenhorst moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council approve <br />the lot split and consolidation as requested (Case No. 81-2l). <br />Motion carried unanimously,(4-0). <br /> <br />Control Data Cooling Towers - Buildin~ Permit Procedure <br />Council was referred to plans of an additional cooling tower <br />proposed west of the main Control Data building which would <br />have a "foot print" of about 28' x 2l' and a height of 20'. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Miller noted that strict application of the ordinance requires <br />review by the Planning Commission and Council; queried how <br />significant Council considers the additional tower (7 existing <br />on the site). <br /> <br />In discussion, Dean Nelson (CDC) said the proposed tower does <br />not encroach on a traffic lane; will be set back 15'+. <br /> <br />The general concensus of Council was that the proposed cooling <br />tower is a fairly standard structure representing an expansion <br />of the existing cooling tower capacity, and does not signifi- <br />ca ntly change the site plan. Council authorized issuance of <br />the Building Permit (4-1 concensus). <br />I' <br /> <br />Case No. SO-20, Evenson Office Buildin~ <br /> <br />A. Landscape Plan and Bond <br />Council was referred to the landscape plan which <br />Miller reported consists of more plant material <br />than the previously submitted concept. Miller <br />recommended its approval, and established the <br />Performance Bond at $lS,170 (125% of the Contract <br />amount). <br /> <br />Wingert moved, seconded ~y Hollenhorst, that <br />Council approve the Evenson landscape plan, <br />dated 7-l3-Sl, subject to receipt of a Per- <br />formance Bond in the amount of $18,170. Motion <br />carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />B. Temporary Occupancy Permit for 2.400 Sq. Ft. <br />Council was referred to request for a partial <br />occupancy permit for 2,400 sq. ft. of the <br />Evenson Office Building. <br /> <br />After discussion, Wingert moved, seconded by <br />Johnson, that Council approve partial occu- <br />pancy of 2,400 sq. ft. of the Evenson Office <br />Building effective July 15th, contingent on <br />resolutiOn of the park dedication.
