Park dedication to be negotiated with the <br />City prior to issuance of an occupancy <br />permit. <br /> <br />6, Cupola, soffit and facia to be of earth <br />tones. <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REPORT OF PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR HANS JOHANSEN <br /> <br />Temporary Summer Employees <br />Hansoll moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council approve the hiring <br />of Steve Zehm, Mike Schifsky and Bob Perry at $5.50/hr as full <br />time temporary Public Works employees as per Johansen's memo. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />(It was Council's understanding that Mike Schifsky is to eventus11y <br />be hired as a full time regular employee). <br /> <br />'< <br /> <br />~oble/Fairview Road Improvement <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council authorize <br />Johansen to proceed to raise the crown at Noble Road and Fairview, <br />as outlined in Johansen's memo, at the most reasonable price. <br />Motion carried (Crichton, Wingert, Hanson voting in favor of the <br />motion; Woodburn voting in opposition). <br />, <br /> <br />(Woodburn explained that he opposes the improvement because it <br />was not budgeted). <br /> <br />Sea1coating Specification~ <br />Johansen referred Council to map of roads to be sea1coated this <br />year; noted that Red Fox Road may be deleted because of amount <br />of construction traffic during the up-grading of Lexington; said <br />he feels City should stick toaome sort of schedule - may have <br />to go to a 5-year program. It was noted that calculations were <br />mad. on the basis of footage, not on costs which have escalated <br />since time of budgeting. <br /> <br />Johansen explained that Round Lake Road West is included because <br />City has a maintenance ~ontract with the State. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Cr.ichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council authorize the <br />Er,gineer to prepare specifications and ad".rert:t. e for bj.ds. Motion <br />carried unanimouSly. <br /> <br />ShOl~~Lane Access to Lexington Avenue <br />Johansen Eported that the access from Shoreline Lane to Lexington <br />Avenue (south of County Rosd D) will be closed unless opposed by <br />the muniCipalities, residents and/or. county; reported that Arden <br />Hills' residents request that this auxiliary access be kept open. <br /> <br />In disCussion, it was suggested that th~ grade of County Roed D <br />could possibly be dropped (in lieu of this auxiliary access), if <br />it does not affect cover of water main.
