A road within the park was considered <br />to be undesirable. It was noted that the boundary of Hazelnut Park, <br />adjacent t,1 the Church property, should be corrected (not accurate as <br />shown) and will probably necessitate moving the skating rinks to the . <br />west.. <br /> <br />The~.&Q}IJion of the home plate and backstop in the smaller Cummings . <br />Par~~queried. Buckley ~aid this could be re-positioned, if residents <br />have no objection; it WIIS positioned as it is .in order to keep the <br />commotion of home plate away from the residential lots. Re~oval <br />Council .eol.1curred that the two tree etumps at 1910 Stowe.Avenue be <br />reimb~rsed at aD estimated $75-$85 cost to the City. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Meeting <br />Buckley in..ited the Council to attend the May 13th Parks Comulittee Meet- <br />ing which is a study meeting re the ~O-year plan. <br /> <br />Lex:ln~ton Avenue Slope ~..:lsements <br />Desn Anklsn and Wayne Leonard (Ramsey County Engineer's office) explained <br />that a 3 to 1 slope ia the south portieD of Ingerson Park would result <br />in removal of a Box Elder, Cottonwood aad Papple trees; will not encroach <br />on new plaatings.
