Christoffersen <br />will prepare amended cost figures, 8S discussed, for consideration <br />of Council and developer. Crichton expressed c~ncern re City <br />putting up front-end money for street and utility construction <br />in the plat in the current money market. <br /> <br />Case No. 80-2, Setback Variance - Karth Lake E8t~tes <br />Wingert displayed a transparency of the Karth Lake Estates plat, <br />indicating lata which were formerly granted 5 foo,: and 10 foot <br />front aetback variances; noted that 101:8 28 and .'41" block i, u.e <br />adjacent to lots with setback variances and have limilar grade <br />problems; reported that the Planning Commission recommends approval <br />of the variances requested. Wingert moved that Co~ncil approve <br />a 5' front setback variance on lot 28, block 1, an< a 10' front <br />setback variance on lot 44, block 1, Karth Lake Estates. Motion <br />was aeconded by Hanson and carried (Wingert, Hanson, Crepeau, <br />Woodburn voting in favor; Crichton voting in opposi:ion). <br /> <br />Case No. 60-3, Proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendmen t tescheduled <br />Public HearinR <br />Wingert reported that Northwestern College and Beth~l College <br />have indicated that they would like to respond to tte proposed <br />Zoning Ordinance Amendment prior to the Planning Co~missions con- <br />sideration of it at its April 2nd meeting. <br /> <br />Wingert moved that the Public Hearing be re-schedulad to April <br />28, 1980, before the Councl1~ at 8:00 p.m. at the Village Hall <br />(inetead of March 31, 1980). The motion wae secondec by Haneon <br />and earrled (Wingert, Hanson, Crichton, Crepeau votin~ in favor; <br />Woodburn voting in opposition). <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Bid Award - 1980 Diseased Tree Removal . <br />Council vas referred to 1980 Diseased Tree Removal Bid Summsry. <br /> <br />After di.cuasion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />No FsultGrlevance Processing, Human R1Rhts Commi~sion <br />Council vas referred to Attorney Lynden's letter of March 7, 1980 <br />re Human Rights Commission.- No Fault Grievance P1:oceIl8. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, Hanson moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council <br />authorize the Human Rights Commission to proceed to emploJ the <br />no fault grievance process as established by the State, and Council <br />adopt the no fault grievance process within the perimeter! of <br />Seetion 2-88(b), 8S outlined by Attorney Lynden. Motion cerried <br />unanimously. Attorney to amend section 22-8 as outlined I,. his letter. <br /> <br />Parks Department: <br />A.
