<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br />Page Four <br /> <br />March 10, 1980 <br /> <br />After discussion, Hanson moved that Council accept the <br />Roeedale Chevrolet Company bid @ $12,000, with the <br />contingency that the Parks budget for 1960 not be ex- <br />ceeded. Motion was s.conded by Wingert and carried unani- <br />moualy. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B. Approval of Spring ProRram <br />Ranson moved, 8econded by Crichton, that Council approve <br />the Spring Program as submitted. Motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 80-12, Resolution for 1981 LEAA Entitlement, <br />Suburban Municipalities as 8 Combination Entitlement <br />McNieah referred Council to proposed Resolution No. 80-l2~ <br /> <br />After discus8ion, Wingert moved, seconded by Cricbton, to adopt <br />Resolution No. 60-12, RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT TO BECOME AN <br />ENTITLEMENT AREA. Motion did not carry (Wingert voting in favor <br />of the motion; Crichton, Hanson, Woodburn, Crepeau voting in op- <br />pod tion) . <br /> <br />Co~ittee ResignatiOn <br />Hanson reported that Wayne Grude. baa resigned from the Human <br />Rights Committee. <br /> <br />Kayor Crepean, upon recommendation of Ward Han80n, accepted <br />Grudem's raaignation and appointed Carol Wasley as his.replacement <br />on the Huma. Rights Commi88ion. <br /> <br />Hanson moved, s~d by Woodburn, tbat Council ratify the <br />appointaent of Wasley as a aember of the Human Rights <br />mission through 1981. Kotion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor'8 <br />Com- <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE MCNIESH <br /> <br />Agreement with New Brighton Staff Performing Inspections of <br />Renderin~ Plant - Status Report <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memo of 3-4-80; noted that the <br />aatter of arranging to have New Brighton's inspactor check Minn- <br />aepolis Hide and Tallow ia on their Council agenda tonight; if <br />Council concurs, Zylla will draft a Joint Powers Agreement for <br />Arden Hill,' conaideration. <br /> <br />Council concurrad tbat Arden Hills would want the aame lnspections <br />as .New Brigh ton, as. outlined in 1IIemo. <br /> <br />Recommendation re Regular Status on.Coapletion of Probationarv <br />Period -.Mary Bohl <br />Council was referred .to McNiellh 'a memo of 3-6-80. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Woodburn moved, aeconded by Hanson, that Council authorise that <br />Mary Bobl be given regular full tiae status and that her salary <br />be increased to 4.25/hour effective April 4, 1980, ss recommanded. <br />Motion carriad unanimously. <br /> <br />Claims and Payroll <br />McNiesh referred Council to Claims and Payroll, noted that check for <br />Sweep.aster ($31.45) ha, been voided because material w.s returned; <br />claim for Americ.n Linen will be adjusted by $42.00 reflecting <br />Wayne Brunette's .bsetic~ from work. <br /> <br />Crichton moved, seconded by Wingert, that Council .P'Provethe <br />Claims andPeyroll as adjusted.
