DEIlElDPMEm' Administrator dated 9-27-91, relative to the proposed <br /> BLOCK GRANT, RAMSEY Joint Cooperation Agreement between the City of Arden <br /> COUNTY Hills and Ramsey County. <br /> 'Ihe Administrat= reported that previously the City has authorized execution of <br /> the mBG, in 1985 and 1988, and it essentially allows the County to became <br /> eligible f= Community Development Block Grant monies, by providing the needed <br /> population to qualify and influences the County annual allocation. <br /> Council1nember Malone ellpressed concern that the City may not be able to retain <br /> control of land uses in Arden Hills without participating with another government <br /> entity . <br />. Berger stated he attenq;lted to contact Judy Karon this date, in order to address <br /> eouncil1nember Malone's concerns; she was unavailable to answer the questions. <br /> May= Sather suggested tabling action on the matter until such time as the Clerk <br /> has contacted Ms. Karon. <br /> Malone noted the County is expecting a response by October 10, 1991. <br /> 'Ihe Clerk Administrator stated he would notify the County of the reason for delay <br /> of action. <br /> Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to table action <br /> Resolution #91-55 to the next Regular Council Meeting held October 15, 1991. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> RECEIVE FFAS. Council was referred to the memoranchnn fram the Clerk <br /> sruDY; ARDEN Administrator dated 9-27-91, and Feasibility study f= <br /> PlACE IMPRVMl'. Arden Place Drainage Improvement fram Engineer Mark <br /> Graham dated 9-25-91. <br /> Engineer Graham reported the existing stann sewer pipe dces not appear to <br /> adequately remove drainage from this area. He stated the feasibility study <br /> outlines construction of a 12-inch stonn sewer pipe, generally following the same <br /> layout as the existing pipe. Graham esti1nated the cost of the project at <br /> approxilnately $15,000.00 and outlined the available assessment methods f= <br />. eouncil consideration. <br />
