<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Minutes of the Arden Hills Council Worksession, 5-18-92 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />WATER MANAGEMENT (CONT'D) <br /> <br />There was discussion relating to implementation of the storm <br />Water utility and liability if projects identified are not <br />completed by dates identified in the plan. <br /> <br />council directed staff to revise the proposed document and <br />forward to the City Attorney for his review. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION OF CABLE TV ISSUES: DAVID SAND <br /> <br />David Sand, Cable commission Representative, appeared before <br />Council to discuss proposed sale of the cable franchise, <br />scholarships granted to Arden Hills residents, and use of <br />cable facilities by member cities. <br /> <br />Council thanked Sand for his report. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION WITH ARCHITECTS: REFERENDUM FOR PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY <br /> <br />Architect Dennis Probst appeared before Council to discuss <br />the proposed public works facility and issues related to a <br />Referendum. <br /> <br />Council directed Probst to draft a letter from Mayor Sather <br />and prepare a map for the proposed Arsenal site location for <br />distribution to Commander Ted Schulte. Council concurred to <br />continue discussion of this matter at the June 15 <br />Worksession meeting. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION OF STAFFING ISSUES: ADMINISTRATOR AND ACCOUNTANT <br /> <br />Deputy Clerk Iago advised Council that after serious <br />consideration she wished to withdraw her interest in <br />applying for the position of Clerk Administrator. Iago <br />indicated that a future time may be more appropriate for her <br />to consider applying for the position. <br /> <br />Iago reported that Terrance Post, the individual hired to <br />serve as the temporary accountant, is doing an excellent job <br />and would be a welcome addition to the staff. She stated <br />that Treasurer Frank Green had discussed the hire of this <br />individual with the employment agency and outline the <br />conditions for hire of this person on a full-time basis. <br />
