<br />. <br />" . <br /> <br />Minutes of Regulsr Council Meeting <br />Page Six <br /> <br />14 June 1982 <br /> <br />In review of application and discussion, it was noted that the sign <br />permit application was applied for subsequent to installation of <br />the sign; sign exceeds maximum 32 sq. ft. maximum permitted by <br />Code; sign has been removed. <br /> <br />No action was taken by Council. <br /> <br />Liaison - Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br />(Appointment deferred.) <br /> <br />Presbyterian Homes Road Easement <br />Council was referred to Lynden's letter of 6-1-82 re: Roadway <br />Easement from Presbyterian Homes of Minnesota, Inc., and attached <br />letter from Presbyterian Homes (5-26-82). <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />After discussion, McAllister moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council <br />is amenable to obtaining a roadway easement from Presbyterian Homes <br />which is 50 ft. in width now, with the conaideration of a wider <br />easement at a future date, if needed. Motion carried unanimously <br />(4-0). <br /> <br />Case No. 82-4, Special Use Permit for Duplex - Mac Eachron <br />Council was referred to draft of propoaed Special Use Permit in <br />connection with Case No. 82-4, Mac Eachron. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve Special <br />Use Permit No. 82-4 as drafted and authorized its execution by <br />the Clerk Administrator on behalf of the City. Motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Authorization to Execute Warranty Deed for Sale of Property <br />on New Brighton Road to Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department <br />Hicks moved that Council authorize execution of the Warranty Deed <br />for Sale of Property on New Brighton Road to Lake Johanna <br />Volunteer Fire Department. Motion was seconded by McAllister <br />and carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Finance Committee Resignation <br />McAlliater moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council accept the <br />resignation of Ross Steele from the Finance Committee, and that <br />he be given a Certificate of Appreciation for his service to <br />Arden Hills. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE McNIESH <br /> <br />Treasurer's Report <br />(absent) <br />McNiesh reported the following investments by Treasurer Lamb: <br /> <br />- $1,500,000 C.D. @ 12.9%, maturing 7/26/82 at <br />1st National Bank of St. Paul. <br />- $500,000 C.D. @ 13.0%, maturing 6/25/82 at <br />Northwestern National Bank of St. Paul, <br />- $1,340,000 Repurchase Agreement @ Kidder, Peabody <br />@ 12.5%, maturing 7/15/82. <br />-$8,579.83 (balance of Temporary Improvement Bonds) <br />went into Savings Account. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council ratify the Treasurer's <br />investments. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Approval of Interest R.te on Temporary Transfers and <br />May Transactions re Bond Sale <br />Hicks moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council approve the 13.82% <br />interest~~~'l~~ Temporary Transfers and May transactions re Bond <br />Sale as ~d in McNiesh'. memo of 5-28-82.
