<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting <br /> <br />April 26, 1982 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE CLERK ADMINISTRATOR CHARLOTTE Me NlESH <br /> <br />Approval of Troje's Sanitation License <br />McNiesh reported that Health Officer Dr.Dunn has approved the <br />application for Rubbish Hauler License; fee charged will be <br />$6/month. <br /> <br />McAllister moved, seconded by Johnson, that Council approve the <br />Troje's Sanitation license for the balance of 1982. Motion <br />carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Village Hall Rent - RCWD <br />McNiesh reported that RCWD's rent for use of the Village Hall two <br />evenings a month is currently $200/year; asked if the rent is to 4It <br />remain the same in 1982. <br /> <br />After discussion, Johnson moved, seconded by Hicks, that the <br />RCWD rent continue at $200/year for 1982, and that RCWD be notifed <br />that the 1983 rent will be $300/year. Motion carried unanimously <br />(4-0). <br /> <br />Payroll <br />McNiesh referred Council to list of four checks, totalling, <br />$1,589.96, submitted for approval of payment in addition to the <br />payroll. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, seconded by McAllister, that Council approve the <br />Payroll and four claims as submitted. Motion carried unanimously <br />(4-0). <br /> <br />May Council Meetings <br />McNiesh noted that the ~ast Monday in May is Memorial Day; con- <br />sequently, the second Council meeting must be re-scheduled. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, seconded by Hicks, that May Council meetings be <br />held on the 10th and 24th. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />1982 Budget Reviaions <br />Council was referred to list of revisions to the 1982 Budget. <br />Council concurred with the revisions as submitted. <br /> <br />Rice Creek Watershed District Meeting re Royal Hills Plat and <br />ApPlication Relative to an endangered Wetland where City pro- <br />poses a road. <br />Council authorized Engineer Christoffersen's attendance at the <br />meeting on behalf of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Meeting re New Brighton Interceptor <br />Council authorized Engineer Christoffersen's attendance at the <br />New Brighton Interceptor meeting at the Fridley Community Center <br />at 3:00 p.m., May 5th, to represent Arden Hills' interests. <br /> <br />Stop Sign at Glenview Ave. and Glenview Court <br />A telephone request from David Price was reporte~ expressing con- <br />cern relative to the existing "Stop" sign at Glenview Ave. and <br />Glenview Court; suggesting either enforcement or removal of the . <br />sign. <br /> <br />The need for two other stop signs at the following locations was <br />also queriedl <br /> <br />Fairview ~nd Crystal <br />Valentine Ave., & Valentine Court <br /> <br />Council referred the three intersections to the Public Safety <br />Committee for its recommendations. <br /> <br />COUNCIL LIAISON REPORTS <br /> <br />Cable TV <br />McAllister referred Council to memo (4-20-82) to the North Sub- <br />urban cable Commission re Roseville's concerns as it relates to <br />the draft agreement of Joint Powers Agreement to Administer Cable <br />TV Franchise.
