<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, April 14 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Case No. 85-2, EdRewater Estates Development ARreement Addendum <br />Tom Zappia (attorney representing Gerald McGuire) referred Council to an <br />Addendum to the Edgewater Estates Development Agreement; explained that the <br />addendum alters the condition of a required recordable document from the <br />Wildlife Service which is to be recorded with the plat; explained that the <br />addendum is offered to enable the developer to record the final plat, allowing <br />for additional time for the Wildlife Service to approve or authorize the <br />consent document. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve the Addendum to <br />Development Agreement. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Bid Award - 1986 Diseased Tree Removal Contract ... <br />Council was referred to Buckley's memo (4/10/86) re Results of 1986 Diseased <br />Tree Removal Bids. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council award the contract for City's <br />Tree and Stump Removal in 1986 to the low bidder, Woodchuck Tree Service. <br />Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Approval to Purchase Shelters for CumminRs and Hazelnut Parks <br />Council was referred to Buckley's memo (4/10/86). <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council authorize the $3,500 expenditure <br />for shelter and concrete pad at Cummings Park. (Hazelnut Park shelter and <br />concrete pad to be ordered at the same time, as previously approved.) <br /> <br />Approval of Summer ProRram Leaders <br />Council was referred to Buckley's memo (4/10/86) re 1986 Spring and Summer <br />Program Personnel. <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the 1986 Spring and <br />Summer Program personnel as outlined in memo. Motion carried unanimously. <br />(4-0) <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE TREASURER DONALD LAMB <br /> <br />Investment <br />4/14/86 <br /> <br />$500,000 at Twin City Federal at 6.617. interest for one month, <br />maturing 5/14/86. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Sather, to ratify the Treasurer's investment. Motion <br />carried unanimously, (4-0) <br /> <br />Resolution No, 86-19, CommendinR Fire Chief Dave Koch <br />Mayor Woodburn read Resolution No. 86-19, COMMENDING DAVE KOCH FOR HIS <br />CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS. <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Sather, that Council adopt Resolution No. 86-19, and <br />authorize presentation of Certificate of Appreciation to Dave Koch for time and <br />services to the City as a fire fighter and as Fire Chief of the Lake Johanna <br />Volunteer Fire Department, <br /> <br />Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Report on Compost Site - Public Works Supervisor Robert Raddatz ~ <br />Raddatz reported that the compost site is scheduled to open on Saturday, April <br />19, Hours are: <br />Noon to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays <br />9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. <br /> <br />Raddatz said an attendant has not been hired to date; has names of a few <br />persons who might be interested. <br /> <br />Hamline Avenue SurcharRe <br />Sather asked Raddatz if he has a reading of how the surcharge along Hamline has <br />worked. Raddatz said there has been, and may continue to be, settling. <br /> <br />Hicks asked if it causes compaction of the main roadway as well as the sides of <br />
