Provision of additional boulevard trees along County . <br /> Road E frontage to assure uniform boulevard appearance. <br /> Evans said he is not aware of a plan for County Road,E. <br /> requiring uniformity of plantings; will comply when . <br /> notified of the plan requirements. Miller said standardize <br /> planting is encouraged, not necessarily the same type of <br /> tree, but a planting plan for County Road E has not been <br /> effectuated. <br /> 2. Approval of exterior lighting by City Planner. Miller <br /> referred Council to proposed exterior lighting fixture <br /> submitted, which he has approved; noted that the fixtures <br /> have a hidden lens and hidden light source and are to be <br /> mounted at 1410' on 15 I poles. <br /> 3. Approval of drainage plan by City Engineer. Miller <br /> explained that the proposed drainage plan has been sub- <br /> mitted and is acceptable to the City Engineer; noted <br /> that the final construction drawing is tO,be submitted for <br /> City Engineer's approval. <br /> 4, Provision of drainage agreements with Steak Inn and MSI... <br /> Evans submitted a letter from MSI advising they have no <br /> objections to the proposed grading and drainage plans, <br /> provided that the grading results in a blending of the <br /> two properties as opposed to the construction of a retaining <br /> wall between the properties. <br /> Evans reported that a verbal agreement of the drainage <br /> plan has been given by Steak Inn; written approval is forth- <br /> coming and will be submitted to the City as soon as received. <br /> 5. Parking Agreement with Steak Inn... Evans reported that <br /> the developers have determined that there is no need for <br /> this overflow parking 'on the Steak Inn lot; will strike the <br /> steps at the south of the site leading to the Steak Inn lot. <br /> Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Mulcahy that Council approve the two <br /> 10' setback variances and site plan for the medical/dental clinic, <br /> sUbject to written approval of the drainage plan by Steak Inn. <br /> Motion carried unanimously (5-0). Park dedication to be resolved <br /> prior to building occupancy. . <br /> Case No. 84-28, Minor Subdivision - James Sto1pestad <br /> Council was referred to a transparency of the site to be subdivided <br /> (southwest corner of Highway 96 and Ham1ine Avenue). Miller explained <br /> that eventually the parcel is proposed to be divided into two lots <br /> to. accommodate two office buildings; explained that the applicant is <br /> purchasing the parcel under a contract and has fully paid for a por- <br /> tion of the land, which he wishes to divide from the west lot, <br /> dividing the west lot into two sub-parcels (la and 1b) in order to <br /> take fee title to lot la, the portion for which payment has been <br /> made. <br /> Miller reported that the Planning Commission recommends approval of <br /> a two lot subdivision (instead of the temporary 3 lot subdivision <br /> requested) splitting lot 1a from the balance of the site, subject <br /> .. <br /> - -------------- <br />
