SS-W-P-ST 84-1 <br />and 84-3 (Royal Hills North and McClung 3rd Addition) <br />McNlesh reported that she has a letter from McClung authorizing <br />the City to award the bid to the low bidder, C. W. Houle; re- <br />ported that Elbenstelner has given verbal authorization, advising <br />that his letter, authorizing award of bid to the low bidder, is <br />I n the ma I I . <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst, that Counci I adopt Resolution <br />No. 84-36, AWARDING BID FOR IMPR. NOS. SS-W-P-ST 64-1 AND 84-3 <br />(ROYAL HILLS NORTH AND MC CLUNG 3RD ADDITION). Motion carried <br />unanimously. (4-0) - <br /> <br />. Resolution No. 64-39, Approving Agreement with Ramsey County <br />for Law Enforcement Services for 1985 <br />Councl I was referred to draft of Resolution No. 64-39. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council adopt Resolution <br />No. 84-39, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES FOR THE YEAR 1965. Motlon.carrled <br />unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Resolution No. 64-40, Resolution on the Public Employees Retire- <br />ment System <br />Councl I was referred to sample resolution, submitted by the League <br />of Minnesota Cities. <br /> <br />No Councl I action was taken. <br /> <br />Park & Recreation Committee Recommendation to Change Name of <br />Crepeau Park to Crepeau Nature Preserve <br />Rauenhorst moved, seconded by Hicks, that Council concurs with <br />the Park & Recreation Committee's recommendation to change the <br />name of Crepeau Park to Crepeau Nature Preserve. Motion carried <br />unanl~ously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Ordinance No'. 234, Amending Chapter 3 of the Arden Hills Code <br />to Delete Prohibition of Sale of Alcoholic Beverages on State-wide <br />Election Days - Final Reading <br />Council was referred to draft of Ordinance No. 234. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Hansen, that Councl I dispense with the <br />Final Reading and adopt Ordinance No. 234, -AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 3 OF ARDEN HILLS CODE, THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES CHAPTER, <br />BY DELETING SECTIONS THEREIN PROHIBITING SALES OF ALCOHOLIC <br />BEVERAGES ON ELECTION DAYS. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Landscape Inspection Reports <br /> <br />Northwestern Col lege - Final <br />Councl I was referred to Landscape Inspector Oelke's report <br />(9/23/64) and to approved landscape p I an. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst, that Council accept <br />the landscaping of Stage I Fine Arts Building, Northwestern <br />College, and authorize release of the bond. Motion carried <br />4It unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />Northpark Corporate Center, Phase IA and IB <br />Council was referred to Landscape Inspector Oelke's report <br />(10/10/64) and to the approved landscape plan. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst, that Councl I accept <br />the Northpark Center, Phase IA and 18 landscaping, contin- <br />gent upon replacement next spring of the dead stock. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (4-0) <br />
