Motion carried unanimously. (3-0) (Relocation <br />of Water Hydrant at north end of Pascal Avenue to allow for <br />enlargement of turn around). <br /> <br />Accept Project as Substantially Complete and Approve Payment <br />No.9. <br />Council was referred to Christoffersen's letter (3-19-84). <br />Christoffersen reported that about a dozen Items are pending <br />completion; recommends a retainage of 2%. Christoffersen saId the <br />the street paving Is considered structurally good, but has <br />poor appearance: <br /> <br />- roller marks are visible <br />- coarse material Is evident <br />- not properly finished <br />- seams are visIble <br /> <br />Christoffersen explained that he feels these inadequacies can <br />be corrected by future seal coating, which he estimates can be <br />done for $3,100. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that CouncIl accept the <br />project as substantially complete and approve Payment No.9. <br />Motion carried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> <br />(Christoffersen noted that the warranty periods begins at the time <br />project is accepted as substantially complete.) <br /> <br />Approva I of Chanqe Order No.1, Impr. No. W-83-4, Water NortlL..2.f. <br />STH 96 <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that CouncIl approve Change Order <br />No.1, Impr.No. W-83-4, water north of STH 96 (Addition of exterior <br />hose blbbs to three residences for purposes of providing well <br />sampling points). Motion carried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> <br />(Council concurred that the $1,007.50 expenditure Is considered to be <br />a lot of tax money for the change order.) <br /> <br />Approval of Tennis Court SpecifIcations and Advertisement for Bids <br />Council was referred to Buckley's memo (3-23-84) and to Advertisement <br />For BIds. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />McNlesh reported that the SpecificatIons were prepared by Buckley and <br />have been reviewed by Planner MIller; are recommended for Council <br />approval. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Mulcahy, that Council approve the tennis court <br />specifications and authorize advertisement for bids. Motion carrIed <br />unanimously. (3-0) <br />
