Amendment was seconded by Mulcahy and carried <br />unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Original motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Proposed Waste Enerqy Plant In New Brighton <br />Council was referred to letter from New Brighton Planner Krueger <br />and to the recommendation of the Arden Hills Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Miller briefly descrIbed the proposed waste energy plant; noted <br />construction of steam lines In Arden HII Is, to serve Mlnneapol Is <br />Hide and Tallow, may be considered an encouragement for the <br />contInued operation of a non-conforming use. <br /> <br />After a brIef discussion, Councl I concurred to communicate Its <br />concerns to Bob Curtis to represent the Interests of Arden Hills <br />at the New Brighton contInued publIc hearing on February 21st. <br /> <br />REPORT OF VILLAGE ENGINEER DONALD CHRISTOFFERSEN <br /> <br />Request to Ramsey County for Variance from Master Street Plan - <br />Woodbrldqe Properties <br />CouncIl was referred to letter from Woodbridge Properties to <br />County EngIneer (2-7-84) requesting a variance from the Major <br />Street Plan. <br /> <br />Hicks moved, seconded by Rauenhorst, that Council supports the <br />request to the County from WoodbrIdge Properties for a varIance. <br />Motion carried unanImously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Approve Final Payment and Accept Red Fox Road Sanitary Sewer <br />Impr. No. SS-83-2 <br />Christiansen moved, seconded by Mulcahy to accept Red Fox Road <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. SS-83-2, and to approve Final <br />Payment to H.B.H. ConstructIon, Inc. in the amount of $1,093.00. <br />Motion carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Park Dedication - J.L.N. Development Co., 1315 Red Fox Road <br />Council was referred to Zehm's memo (2-10-84) re Interpretation <br />of OrdInance 175 as It relates to re-developed land. <br /> <br />Rauenhorst moved, seconded by HIcks, that Ordinance No. 175 <br />does not apply to the J.L.N. Development Co. since It Is a <br />re-development of property at 1315 Red Fox Road. Motion <br />carried unanimously. (5-0) <br /> <br />Request to Support Minnesota Meadows Location for MetropolItan <br />Race Track <br />(no action taken) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Solar Bank Deferred Loan Program - MN Housing Finance Agency <br />(no action taken) <br />
