He suggested that the City explore solving the problem through tagging <br /> those individuals who are speeding before adding additional signs. <br />I Councilmember Aplikowski noted that not all Crystal A venue residents are in favor of a sign. <br /> Mayor Probst stated that in order to avoid a split vote, no action would be taken on this item, and <br />I suggested solving the traffic problem in an alternative fashion. <br /> MOTION: No action was taken on this item. <br />I C. 1996 Street Improvement Proieet Ul}date <br />I Mr. Fritsinger reported that two letters were received from residents of Pascal Avenue, <br /> identifying additional concerns ofresidents. Mr. Fritsinger also noted that Staff had been in <br />I contact with other residents, and the comments received include residents on Chatham Avenue, <br /> McCracken Avenue, Siems Court and Ridgewood Court who are concerned about potential <br /> assessments. Mr. Fritsinger also noted that businesses on Pine Tree Drive would like to have <br />.. access to their operations clearly defined and interruptions reduced as much as possible. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger stated that the main objective is to speak with the individuals not in attendance <br />I either through letters or over the telephone, to ensure that the project is understood by all <br /> involved. <br />I Mayor Probst inquired if there were any other comments received. Mr. Fritsinger replied that <br /> there were only those comments concerned about assessments, and drainage on Ridgewood <br /> Court and Siems Court. <br />I Mayor Probst noted that the residents of Oak A venue, at the informational meeting, were <br />I informed that cold-in-place recycling would not allow repairs to utilities and curb and gutter <br /> drainage issues. <br />I Bev Stoutenburg, 1435 W. County Road, stated that at the last meeting, they were left with the <br /> impression that soil borings would be done on Pascal A venue to determine if cold-in-place <br /> recycling would be possible. She asserted that curb and gutter would not solve the drainage <br />I problems on Pascal Avenue. <br /> Mayor Probst noted that curb and gutter may solve the drainage problems, but it is not known to <br />I what extent. <br />,. <br />. <br />
