It may be appropriate for a community <br /> to examine its local controls for their potential to reduce housing costs and diversifY its <br /> housing. These efforts can include: I <br /> . Land use and zoning regulations; including minimum and maximum densities, <br /> amounts ofland planned or zoned for multifamily housing; environmental <br /> protection regulations; public dedication requirements.
