The Staff is confident <br /> that the contract will mesh with the 1997 budget projections. The Staff is anticipating that the <br /> I contract will be coming to the Cily Council for consideration at the December 9, 1996 meeting. <br /> Miscellaneous <br /> I 1. TCAAP. The Staff is continuing to work with a wide variety of existing tenants on <br /> TCAAP as it relates to consolidation/relocation of existing uses and making land <br /> I available for re-use (ie., open space, governmental, industrial, office, etc.,). It is hoped <br /> that prior to the end of 1996 that meaningful progress on this front will have occurred. <br /> I 2, I-35W Corridor Coalition, The Coalition was unsuccessful in obtaining a Livable <br /> Communities Grant from the Metropolitan Council. However, there exists other grant <br /> formats which exist and will be explored. The Community Development Director's of <br /> I the Coalition Cities continue to meet and work towards implementation of a compatible <br /> Geographic Information System (GIS), joint economic development marketing, and <br /> transportation issues onl-35W. <br /> I 3, Geographic Information Systems.
