I <br /> The Public Works Superintendent and Mr. Post have heenlooking at new technology for <br /> monitoring the Arden Hills lift stations and water system, called SCADA (Supervisory Control I <br /> and Data Acquisition), this technology would eliminate the need for seventeen dedicated phone <br /> lines and a visit to each facility everyday. <br /> Also, the need for Electro Watchman would be eliminated as the SCADA system automatically I <br /> pages the person on call, and Informs the person as to which facility and the nature of the <br /> problem.
