JOHANNA BLVD. council was referred to a letter from Rich Callinan, 1860 stowe Avenue, dated 3-23-90., requesting to appear at the APril 30 Council meeting to discuss repairs on stowe Avenue. Public Works SUpervisor Winkel advised the Ramsey County Capital Irlprovement Program will be available APril 10 and stowe Avenue appears on the CIP in 1994 i suggested Council attempt to expedite repair of stowe Avenue. CounciJJnember Hansen suggested a letter be sent to Ramsey County requesting this project be moved up on the schedule. Mayor Sather noted there are several County roads in Arden Hills which should be addressed as part of the Ramsey County CIP program; suggested the Engineer and Public Works SUpervisor review all County roads in Arden Hills and rate the roadways based on worst to best condition for Council review. Winkel stated a County representative told the homeowner they would not begin a repair project until the municipality requested street repairs. CounciJJnember Malone questioned if the County will be receptive to Arden Hills intervention. Engineer Maurer advised the County is receptive to such requests; the County rating pr=ess includes a point rating for support of the project from the local governing body. . PRCMJ'TIONAL Councilmernber Hansen distriluted a promotional pamphlet PAMPHLET from the City of Falcon Heights which provides residents of that =nmunity with valuable information relating to city services. She suggested Council consider l:u:lge~ing funds to prepare a similar brochure for Arden Hills residents.
