(4-0) <br />FI[�,L PA�1T; <br />C�IE�i'IICAL A1�.YSIS, <br />pRUM DISPOSAL <br />KFM NIII�Il�IG SITE <br />Cwncil was refesred to a memorandinn from the Clerk <br />Arhninistrator dated 9-6-90, relative to final payment <br />to far chemical analysis arxl dnan disPosal at the Kem <br />Site. <br />paryl phman was present to review the final payment amounts and s�PP���J <br />time/material data received from the firms conductiix3 the removal of the dnmis at <br />the Kem Milling site. <br />Council questioned why three c�anies wes'e utilized to acx.�plish the chemical <br />disposal. <br />Ohman e�lained Bay West, the subcontractar' hised to dispose of the diwns, had <br />the specialized equipment necessary to acxomplish dispo<'.�al; Metro was lzired to <br />transport and dispose of the dnmis, however, they det�*m+�n� four of the dnuns <br />contained materials they could not dispose of at their site and Aptus was liired <br />to dispose of the remaining four bazrels. <br />Council questioned if the project is close to finalization at this time. <br />Ohman advised the only remainim item is the removal of the contaminated soils <br />from the site and c�mpletion of a report fram Delta Envirorunental on the project. <br />Council requeste3 t1'ie Clerk A�inistrator prepare a finalized �'eakdown of all <br />c�sts associated with the phased clean-� at the Kem Millirig site and a <br />c�arison with the initial c�st estimates for the project, when a final report <br />is received from Delta F]ivi_rornnental Consultants. <br />Malone moved, seooncled 1�' Hansen� to authorize the <br />tr expenditure for final payment for chemical analysis and dnmm dispo al at the Kem <br />Milling site, in the amount of $7,063.42.
