<br />I' - <br />I Administrator Comments for the February 24, 1997 City Council Meeting <br /> Page Three <br />~ February 20, 1997 <br /> b. Personnel Policy <br />I I have scanned the current Personnel Ordinance into our computer system and <br /> have begun working on amendments to this document. The Council may recall <br /> the decision was made to remove the personnel policy from the Municipal Code, <br />I and instead adopt it by Resolution. Currently, I am projecting a review of this <br /> policy by the City Council in June. However, if time permits, I may have a draft <br /> available prior to this date. <br />I e. TCAAP Activities <br /> I continue to meet with representatives of the National Guard, Alliant <br />1 T echsystems, and the Army on a regular basis to discuss a variety of issues. I also <br /> have continued to serve on the Restoration Advisory Board which has reviewed <br /> the various environmental clean up plan options being considered by the Army. <br />1 d. Newsletter Committee <br />I The Newsletter Committee has published the February edition of the Arden Hills <br /> Notes, and is currently working on the March Edition. The February edition was <br /> the first mailed with the revised mailing list provided by the Post Office. This <br />.. mailing was to have included all of the local businesses. <br /> e. 1997 City Council/Deoartment Head Retreat <br />1 I have confirmed with Dennis Cheesebrow, Teamworks International, his <br /> availability to serve as facilitator on March 21 and 22. The Retreat will be held at <br /> the Earle Brown Center in Brooklyn Park. <br />I f. 1900 Edgewater Abatement <br /> The City has finally been provided a court date in this case of April 8, 1997. Mr. <br />1 Ringwald and Mr. Scherbel continue to meet with prospective contractors who <br /> have an interest in remodeling the property. To-date, however, the City has not <br /> been provided evidence that the home is structurally capable of being renovated. <br />I g. Community Suryey. Preliminary Summary Review <br />I The City has received the initial draft survey results. I am currently working with <br /> Decision Resources on the Executive Summary which should be completed next <br /> week. Decision Resources continues to work on the cross-tabulations and final <br />I survey results which are expected to be presented to the City Council on March <br /> 10,1997. <br />1 <br />it <br />I <br />
