Fire extinguishers shall be maintained in fully operable condition, correctly <br /> labeled and kept in designated places at all times when not in use. <br /> I 3. All City vehicles shall be equipped with fire extinguishers. <br /> 4. Extinguishers shall be conspicuously located where they will be readily accessible <br /> I and immediately available in case of fire. <br /> 5. Supervisors shall designate employees to visually check pressure gauges and seals <br /> I on extinguishers once a month. <br /> 6. All extinguishers shall be thoroughly inspected once a year by the Fire <br /> I Department or a certified fire extinguisher company. <br /> I 7. Employees shall be given adequate instruction on the function and operation of <br /> fire extinguishers and be familiar with their locations in the work area. <br /> Ie 8. Fuel oil or kerosene for starting fires is to be used only outside. Gasoline shall not <br /> I be used for starting fires. <br /> 13.
