Working closely with the Mounds View High School 9th Grade <br /> Civics Program, the Mounds View High School National Honor Society and local businesses and <br /> . corporations, we have begun to develop a core of consistent volunteers to assist our programs. <br /> New Programs for Fall include: <br /> I . Preschool Creative Dramatics <br /> . Fall Flag Football <br /> . Nerf Sports <br /> I . Art Adventures Class <br /> . Crazy Crafts Class <br /> . Spooktacular Craft Class <br /> I . Adult 4 on 4 Football <br /> I Maintenance Report <br /> The maintenance staff continues to clear and trim along the trails. Since we intend to remove the <br /> snow from these areas this winter, it is necessary to trim back the shrubs etc. to prevent damage <br /> Ie from snow storage. There are several hockey board areas that need to be repaired before rink <br /> season. Staffhave begun this process. There are some minor erosion areas along our park and <br /> trail areas that need to be repaired before winter. We will be attempting to fix all of these areas <br /> I since they will only get worse with the spring thaw. <br /> Dave Winkel has been very busy inspecting diseased trees in the City. It seems that there have <br /> I been more calls from residents concerned about their trees this year.
