S/a ~ June 6. 1997 Revised plans with the stamp portion "Not for Construction" removed and submitted to the City of Arden Hills on June 6, 1997 with the notification of intent to begin construction on June 16. 1997. June 16. 1997 Anticipated construction date delayed because City of Arden Hills Building Department needed more time to review plans. (The exterior surface on the Activity Center was not one of the items for clarification). Due to the delay in issuing a building permit, Welsh Construction submitted application for Earthwork and Grading only. June 24. 1997 Welsh Construction responded to the list of28 items. The Earthwork and Grading permit was issued and actual site construction began. Julv I. 1997 - . Verbal approval was given by City of Arden Hills Building Department to Welsh Construction to proceed with constructing the footings. July 14. 1997 - Welsh Construction received a telephone call form the City of Arden Hills Building Official - notifying the building: review was complete except for two conditions: (I) relocating trees; and - (2) brick on the Acti vity Center. This is the first time any comment was made rel!ardinl! the exterior buildinl! materials on the Activity Center. I Julv 18. 1997 I Welsh Construction met with City of Arden Hills Staff on the construction site to discuss the specifics of the Architectural Precast panels such as texturing and color on the existing Stage I building. The discussion did not focus on brick but on other options that would enhance the I Activity Center by use of a mansard type border using the metal clad material similar to that used on Stage 1.
